30 Days of Writing Challenge: Day 22 “Write About Today”

If there is one word to describe this day, it was swamped. I was very swamped and now my neck hurts. But that’s okay, I enjoyed it.

February 2nd, 2021 is a day with two meetings. I also had a few things to take care of. Like some house work, some editting, a bit of chatting, and now this story. By the (almost) end of the day, I was tired and in a need of a massage, preferably done by another’s hands, but that’s really impossible so I’ll just give myself a self-massage.

I did a few sit-ups to start the day. I realize that my stomach’s not as flat as it used to be, so I decided to do workouts again. I fed my fish, took a shower with really cold water so I didn’t wash my hair today and I ended up tying it in a ponytail for the rest of the day, and then I jump to do work and stuff.

I really wish that I could slip in an episode or two of The Legend of Korra, but I guess that’s for tomorrow. I promised a friend I’d record something, but I didn’t do it tonight because I ran out of time. But that’s okay, I still have tomorrow.

I was bitten by mosquitoes again today, they’re swarming around everywhere. But that’s okay, I can still swat them and live a happy life. After all, it’s only itchy for a while.

I think February 2nd, 2021 is a decent day. There was a heavy rain and my mother made a meatball soup so we can warm ourselves. Plus, I still have some leftover pizza in the fridge to snack on while I’m editting.

So, all in all, I think I enjoyed myself. Plus I get to catch up with an old friend and I really miss talking to her. I’m glad that she’s doing well, I really am. Hey, if you’re reading this, thanks for making my day!

Anyway, yes, February the 2nd may not be ‘that special’, but it’s indeed a day well spent for me. Looking forward to tomorrow! Bye now, I still have one video to edit.

My new friend, Adobe Premiere
